Business Lesson - Leave the Echo Chamber

I'm noticing that when you stick on a social platform for long enough, you tend to create a circle of people that very closely mimic your interests.

That's absolutely normal and the good side of building an online presence.

However, where it gets close to ugly for me is when you notice that your thinking patterns and your content creation patterns are starting to mirror other people's.

When we start creating the same type of content, we lose the edge of being unique.

We lose the real advantage we have.

You've probably come across "Money Twitter/X".

It's a space where growth posts are a daily pillar, motivation is being thrown left and right, "nailing the hook" is as important as air, and writing bullet points in ascending order of word length is an art.

Don't forget proper spacing and formatting of the post, IT'S VITAL if you want to grow on there.

Don't get me wrong, it works, but do I want to be restricted to only thinking within that echo chamber and restricting myself not to create as I wish, you bet not.

Meanwhile, there are 50,000+ accounts out there drawing folder structures with emojis.

Lesson?

There’s no one way to success.

So...

One of my main goals moving forward will be to burst my own bubble and try my best to create unique content.

For that, I need to reduce inputs and "inspiration" from other accounts AND try to connect and analyze the true gems of creativity - people who are unique.
