DTC+: Why gamers win in business

Anyone who’s played video games knows the dopamine rush of a reward after days of “grinding”.

The sword you wanted “drops” after 3 days of mindlessly killing creatures for 8+ hours a day.

You get trained to like the “grind”, because you know the dopamine hit will be worth it.

The grind becomes pre-dosing dopamine, you start enjoying it.

Same applies to business.

The ones that stop, didn’t like the grind and they made a contribution to the graveyard of ideas that never came to be, because the effort was stopped before the reward came.

And that reward was coming, it was just at the end of the 3 mindless days.

The moment you learn to enjoy the grind, you win.
