DTC+: The evolution is storytelling

I’ve been looking at online stores professionally for the past decade.

Most of them just list products and hope ads will carry the business.

We then come in and optimize it a bit by adding social proof here and there, popping a few USP icons under the add to cart button, change some copy, change some images.

The basics of CRO.

Any activity has a basic level of execution.

At some point however, the basics saturate, people see through them, they are uninterested by them, the ROI is no longer there.

The market is bored.

The universal remedy to boredom is storytelling. Has been since the dawn of time.

Short story shorter:

The better version of what you do is always storytelling.
