DTC+: Our biggest mistake yet

The biggest business mistake we've made so far:

We stopped sales for a while.

We didn't want to sacrifice quality for existing clients, while putting a team together, after our initial phase of growth (just me and my co-founder).

But it significantly slowed down the business.

To a point of sleepless nights whether we can pay salaries.

Retention is one part of the game, but just as important is the pipeline for new clients.

You can’t grow on retention alone.

Part of the game though.

Lesson learned.

Never stop selling.

Also make sure to hire, onboard and train in advance, not at capacity.

Never sacrifice quality.
